What equipment do you use?

With the reincarnation of Halo Entertainment in 2016, brand new equipment from highly regarded industry leading brands have been sourced to power and bring reliability to Halo’s stock inventory. Brands such as Pioneer DJ, Yamaha, Apple, Chuavet DJ, Sennheiser and AKG will ensure a rock solid performance at your event.

Do you have a catalog of music available on the night?

Absolutely! This is the key to ensuring your night has the perfect balance of music. As no two events are ever the same, Halo Entertainment will have tens of thousands of songs to chose from on the night. Depending on the location and internet speeds, connectivity through a mobile wireless network allows access for an infinite number of songs. So that song Aunt Betty has been requesting all night can be played when she’s ready to bust a move on the dance floor! Mixing up the wide genres of music is sure to keep everyone happy.

What if my venue has sound restrictions?

Sound restrictions is always very common with venues. Whether at a private property or a specialised Wedding Venue, you can rest assured that Halo Entertainment has worked closely with the fussiest of venues to adhere to any noise restrictions.

If your venue happens to have no electrical power outlets, we can source a number of battery operated speakers and lighting or provide a generator at an extra fee.

What lighting is included in the price?

We don’t have bronze, silver or gold packages on offer. Put simply, Halo Entertainment will bring all necessary equipment required to ensure the correct level of ambient lighting is provided. This usually comprises of a number of effects lighting and uplighting. The effects lighting will bring energy to your dance floor and the uplighting will spread ambient vivid colours across the room to help set the mood as the guests first arrive at the venue.

If your demand for uplighting is greater than the number of lights available, we can certainly bring in more lighting at a additional fee. This can be discussed in further detail during the initial meeting.

Are you covered by insurance?

Yes.

Halo Entertainment is covered for up to $20,000,000 Public Liability Entertainers Insurance policy.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, a 20% deposit will be required to secure your booking.

Who are the Wedding DJ's used by Halo Entertainment?

On the night of your event, there will be no surprise as to who will be your DJ. Halo Entertainment is solely operated by Kenny Dudek, who will be with you every step of the way. As the business owner, Kenny is also meticulous in maintaining a high level of standard and ensuring his reputation upheld.

Can I dance on clouds?

Yes! Dry Ice is available as an additional extra, however without the correct knowledge, handling of Dry Ice (carbon dioxide) can be hazardous.

Can we provide you with a list of songs?

Of course!

There is no problem with providing your DJ with a detailed list of songs BUT this isn’t always recommended. Halo Entertainment is a highly reputable DJ in the industry with years of experience in reading a crowd and dance floor, with the uncanny ability to assess upcoming songs. Halo will link your requested songs with other songs to generate a flowing set of music guaranteed to keep the dance floor pumping!
